The line-up
Two drainage systems and the catheter kits that go with them. Orange catheters are antibiotic-impregnated; the others are standard silicone. Tantalum length marks make the catheters visible on imaging.

What is the difference between the EVD-010 and EVD-020 Series?
The EVD-010 Series is a complete external ventricular drainage system with its own 31 cm ventricular catheter, 30 cm measuring scale, 150 ml drip chamber and 800 ml drainage bag. The EVD-020 Series is used with either a ventricular or a lumbar catheter, so one drainage system covers both routes.
Are antibiotic-impregnated catheters available?
Yes. Ventricular, lumbar and peritoneal catheters are offered standard or antibiotic-impregnated. The impregnated catheters are orange and release the agent in a controlled way over 28 days, which helps hospital teams tell them apart at a glance.
Can DESU supply documents for a value-analysis committee or a tender?
